Why we made Claspy

Where we started

Sometimes the hardest part of a relationship is finding something to talk about. Days get busy, and most evenings the conversation stops at “how was your day”.

That’s why we made Claspy. You both get the same question every day. Once you’ve both answered, you see each other’s answers, and the conversation starts from there.

How we choose the questions

When you start, we ask how long you’ve been together. We pick the daily questions for the stage your relationship is in, so a couple who just met won’t get the same questions as a couple who’ve been together for years.

A new theme opens every month, and the questions follow it. We write the questions in Turkish first, not in translation.

What’s in the app

Besides the question of the day, there are seven types of games. They take a few minutes; some you play in turns, some at the same time.

The Us tab keeps a counter of your days together, your shared memories, your lists and your story. If your partner hasn’t joined yet, you can start on your own with the Discover yourself questions.

Your answers stay between you two

Only your partner sees your answers. We don’t sell or rent your personal data, and we don’t share it for marketing.

Our mascot

Sea otters hold hands while they sleep so the current doesn’t pull them apart. That’s where our mascot comes from.
